Grief touches us in many forms—through the death of a loved one, the loss of a cherished pet, changes in health, career, or identity. I provide compassionate grief counseling and therapy for loss, specializing in supporting people through these difficult transitions. I have particular experience in psychosocial oncology, chronic illness support, and navigating grief related to terminal illness. I understand how overwhelming these experiences can feel and create a safe, supportive space for healing.

My integrative therapy approach blends psychodynamic therapy, client-centered counseling, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to meet each person where they are. Together, we explore the layers of pain and self-protection, uncover new perspectives, and foster inner resilience. I believe in the healing power of deep listening, authentic connection, and the courage it takes to face life’s most challenging moments.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a journalist, which gave me insight into vicarious trauma and the pressures of high-demand careers. This experience informs my sensitivity to the diverse ways people carry stress, responsibility, and invisible burdens.

Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting—but it can also be profoundly empowering. My style is warm, curious, and non-judgmental. I walk alongside you whether you’re navigating grief and loss, questioning your path, or seeking support in managing life’s challenges.

I am a queer, bilingual therapist (English & Italian) offering sessions in person in New York City and online therapy for clients across New York State.
