My primary goal as a therapist in New York City is to provide an empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel deeply listened to and understood. From this foundation, we can safely explore your struggles and the ways you move through the world. Together, we will look at the stories you tell yourself—as well as those shaped by family, institutions, and culture—that have influenced how you see yourself. By understanding these stories, we can uncover both their strengths and limitations, opening new possibilities for responding to life’s challenges.

As a clinically trained social worker and psychotherapist, I draw from relational therapy, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, and family systems approaches in my work with adults, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. Many of the people I work with begin therapy during times of life transition, often accompanied by anxiety, depression, or feelings of being stuck. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to honor your story, respect your humanity, and support you in finding growth and healing.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked for over fifteen years in the fine arts, where I engaged daily with the many ways people express themselves. This creative background informs my therapeutic style and allows me to understand the unique struggles of artists, performers, and creative professionals, as well as the powerful role creativity can play in healing. I also have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, with a special focus on supporting transgender and non-binary young people and their families as they navigate important life transitions.

If you are seeking a therapist in Manhattan who integrates creativity, evidence-based approaches, and LGBTQIA-affirming care, I would be honored to work with you.
