I am a licensed psychologist in New York City with over 10 years of training and experience in psychiatric and clinical settings, including Bellevue Hospital, Brooklyn College Counseling Center, and the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I completed my APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at North Central Bronx Hospital. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of life in New York City and the unique mental health challenges faced by individuals living here.
In addition to clinical work, I spent more than a decade at the City University of New York (CUNY) as an academic counselor, program developer, researcher, and grant writer. My work focused on the power of storytelling in therapy, academics, career, and professional development—helping people reframe difficult life narratives and create new possibilities.
I also supervise and teach mental health counseling courses at Fordham University in their Mental Health Counseling program. Working both as a practicing clinician and as a supervisor to graduate-level counseling trainees has given me a unique perspective on psychotherapy, clinical training, and the therapeutic process. This dual role allows me to approach therapy with creativity, depth, and flexibility, tailored to the needs of each client.
